Getting started
How do I sign up?
Choose a plan at pricing.textwire.com, pay, then complete the provisioning form.
What happens after I pay?
We create the account and text the password to the phone number you entered. That phone number is your username. Log in at dashboard.textwire.com.
How long until I can send?
Your dedicated number is usually live in 3 to 5 business days. You can start sending once that number is live.
Numbers
What numbers do you provision?
Toll-Free (the self-serve default), 10DLC, and Short Codes.
What is the $25/month plan?
A toll-free number plus email and phone support. Message credits are purchased separately in packs.
What about short codes?
Short codes carry a higher monthly lease and hosting cost but lower per-message rates. We will beat competing short-code messaging rates. Short codes are not the $25/month self-serve plan — Contact Sales.
Pricing
What do credit packs cost?
1,000 for $30, 10,000 for $250, 100,000 for $1,750, and 1,000,000 for $15,000. Credits do not expire.
Is there a contract?
The monthly number and support are billed through Stripe. Credits are one-time packs, not a subscription.

Can people reply?
Yes. Every account includes a two-way inbox.
Can we use groups?
Yes. You can create unlimited custom groups.
Do you have an API?
Yes. Many of our largest customers are API-only. Contact Sales to map an existing send path. A fuller metered API is on the roadmap.
Twilio / switching
How are you different from Twilio?
Twilio is a developer platform. Textwire includes the number, the dashboard, and a person you can call. We also support API-only accounts.
Can I move off Twilio?
Yes. Contact Sales and we'll help you make the switch.
